Shelton Harrison | LEX Academic Director

LEX academic director Shelton Harrison (J.D., University of Virginia; B.A., Stanford) helps students prepare for the LSAT, first-year law school exams, the MPRE, and the California Bar Exam.  Through the LSAPP Law School Bootcamp, Harrison also helps students prepare for law school itself.   Harrison began his teaching career at Fairmeadow Elementary School in Palo Alto, California, working with learning-disabled students as a teacher’s aide.   Since that time, Harrison has taught and tutored hundreds of students for standardized tests.

Prior to LEX, Harrison was trained as an instructor by three of the top national test preparation companies, including TestMasters, Kaplan, and Princeton Review.  Harrison also has a strong personal track record as a test-taker, having received a maximum score on the LSAT and Math II score; 99th percentile scores on the GRE, SAT, and ACT; and a first-time pass on the California Bar Exam and MPRE. After graduating from Stanford, Harrison attended the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of the Virginia Law Review.
